Age and eligibility

Gambling in South Africa is restricted to people aged 18 and over. This site is written for that audience and no part of it is intended for anyone younger. Nothing here should be read as an encouragement to gamble.

Information, not advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial or tax advice, and it is not a substitute for reading an operator's own terms. It does not promise any outcome from gambling, because no such promise can honestly be made: every product covered here is built so that the operator wins over time.

Accuracy and its limits

Claims are sourced to first-party pages with the date each was last opened. Operators change licences, products, offers, limits and terms without notice, so a claim that was accurate on its recorded date may not be accurate today. The dates are published so you can judge that for yourself.

Verify anything that affects money on the operator's own page before you deposit. Where we have not captured something, the page says so rather than guessing.

Disputes with an operator

A dispute is between you and the operator. It goes to the operator's complaints route first, then to the provincial regulator named on its licence, which every operator page here identifies. First Deposit is a publisher and cannot act on an account, a withdrawal or a dispute.

Liability

This site is provided as it is. To the extent South African law allows, First Deposit is not liable for losses arising from gambling, from reliance on information here, or from any operator's acts or omissions. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it.
