Commercial disclosure
How this site makes money
15 of the 19 operators covered here carry a commercial link. If you open an account through one, First Deposit may be paid by that operator. You pay nothing extra, and the offer you get is the same as if you had gone direct.
Every one of those links is marked "Partner offer" where it appears, carries
rel="sponsored nofollow" in the HTML, and says "Commercial link" underneath it. There is
no hidden version.
What a commercial relationship does not change
- The order operators appear in. That is set by measured South African search demand, not by commission. Two operators that pay us have no measured brand demand at all and sit at the bottom of the list because of it.
- What we publish about an operator. Where licence evidence is missing, the page says so, including on operators that pay.
- Whether an offer amount is published. An offer is published only when it was read from the operator's own page on a recorded date. Being paid by an operator does not get its offer published without that.
- Evidence links. Regulators, operator terms, licence documents and support services are never commercial and never tracked.
What is not monetised at all
4 operators covered here carry no commercial route. Either a partnership is agreed but the operator has not issued a tracked link, or no commercial relationship exists at all. Those pages exist because the question is worth answering, not because they earn anything.
The pages about bonuses, deposits, FICA and responsible gambling are not monetised in themselves. They link to operator pages, which do carry commercial links, and that is the whole of the relationship.
What we are not
First Deposit is an independent publisher. It is not a bookmaker, it does not take bets, it does not hold player funds, and it does not operate any gambling product. It cannot open, close, verify, credit or investigate an account for you, and it has no access to any operator's records about you.
If you have a dispute with an operator, it goes to that operator and then to the provincial regulator named on its licence. We can tell you which regulator that is; we cannot act on it.
Analytics
Page views and outbound operator clicks are counted using Plausible, which is cookieless and does not build a profile of you. What is recorded on an outbound click is which operator, which page, and where on the page the link sat. Not who you are.
What happens after you leave this site is measured by the operator and its affiliate platform, not by us. Their reporting is an operator claim, and we treat it as one. Privacy.
